Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager / Customer Service Executive with a strong background in logistics. This role is key to maintaining and growing client relationships, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth delivery operations. The successful candidate will be highly customer-focused, confident, and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Handle day-to-day customer queries and provide service updates in a timely, professional manner.
  • Manage and process bookings for overnight, international, and same-day deliveries.
  • Liaise with operations, warehouse staff, and drivers to ensure smooth execution of services.
  • Provide accurate documentation and tracking for shipments.
  • Proactively resolve service issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell services and grow existing accounts.
  • Support warehouse/same-day operations when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven customer service experience with a solid background in logistics.
  • Strong understanding of overnight, international, and same-day bookings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident, persuasive, and able to handle customer-facing interactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and logistics booking systems.
  • Flexible – May include some weekend and out-of-hours work.

Desirable

  • Background in warehouse or same-day courier operations.
  • Experience supporting sales teams or account growth within logistics.
