The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

Due to newly awarded contracts and continued business growth, we are looking to recruit experienced Transport Planners at our Headquarters in Portadown across a variety of shift patterns.
This is an exciting opportunity for a career-minded and ambitious individual to join our team working in one of the UKs Leading Transport and Logistics companies.
Reporting to the Departmental Manager, Transport Planners will assist in planning and executing logistics operations across GB/NI & ROI. With 13 years of experience, you will support customer service, manage operational data, and contribute to the smooth running of daily transport activities.

Key Duties
Assist in planning and scheduling delivery routes to meet operational targets.

Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure efficient service and resolve any issues.

Use IT systems, including TMS and MS Office applications, to manage logistics operations effectively.

Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Support documentation processes for international shipments.

Work with the Maintenance Team to ensure service intervals are met and vehicle defects are addressed.

Contribute to the preparation of performance reports for management.

Analyse transportation data to help identify trends and areas for improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience
13 years of experience in logistics, transport planning, or a related role.

Proficient IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Transport Management Systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

A proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.

Relevant qualifications in logistics or transport planning (advantageous but not essential).

These roles includes weekend work as part of the contracted hours some shifts being Mon – Fri with weekend requirement and others working a butterfly shift, 7 days across a 2 week period.
