As an AppLovin Performance Designer, you will sit at the intersection of creative, engineering, and performance marketing—owning the production of high‑impact, interactive ad creatives that materially lift CTR and downstream conversion. You’ll work closely with Performance Marketing, Growth Strategists, and Creative Strategy to design MOF/BOF AppLovin creatives, HTML end cards, and interactive statics that outperform traditional formats. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in experimentation, understands performance data, and wants to push beyond “static ads” into interactive, conversion-driven creative systems.

What You’ll do

  • AppLovin Performance Creative Production
    • Design MOF and BOF creatives optimized specifically for AppLovin placements and inventory
    • Produce net‑new assets weekly across static, interactive HTML, GIF, and short‑form video formats
    • Translate creative briefs into high‑performing ad executions with speed and consistency
  • HTML & Interactive Creative Development
    • Build HTML‑based interactive creatives that significantly outperform static CTR benchmarks
    • Convert static concepts into interactive formats (tap, swipe, reveal, demo‑style interactions)
    • Develop landing‑page‑style and end‑card‑style HTML units for AppLovin environments
  • Performance‑Driven Iteration & Testing
    • Design creatives aligned to MOF/BOF intent signals, offers, and messaging angles
    • Rapidly iterate based on CTR, CVR, engagement rate, and creative fatigue signals
    • Collaborate with Growth and Media teams to prioritize winners and scale formats
  • Multi‑Format Asset Creation
    • Design high‑quality statics, animated GIFs, and short looping videos for AppLovin
    • Create product unboxing, product demo, testimonial‑style, and landing‑style creatives
    • Embed video or GIF elements seamlessly into HTML ad units
  • AI‑Augmented Creative Workflows
    • Leverage AI design tools (including Nano Banana Pro) to accelerate concepting and execution
    • Use AI to generate variations, backgrounds, compositions, and visual treatments
    • Continuously evolve creative workflows using custom or multi‑tool AI stacks

How You’ll Succeed

  • Key Objective #1: Increase AppLovin Creative Performance
    • CTR lift vs static baselines
    • Engagement rate and interaction completion rate on HTML creatives
    • Volume of AppLovin‑ready assets shipped per week
  • Key Objective #2: Scale Winning Creative Systems
    • Number of scalable HTML templates and repeatable interactive formats built
    • Speed from brief to launch for new creative concepts
    • Reduction in creative fatigue through format and interaction diversity
  • Key Objective #3: Creative Quality & Execution Excellence
    • QA pass rate for HTML creatives across AppLovin environments
    • Stakeholder satisfaction (Performance, Growth, Creative Strategy)
    • Consistency in brand, product clarity, and conversion‑focused design

What You Bring

  • Proven experience designing MOF/BOF performance creatives, ideally for AppLovin or similar networks
  • Strong HTML creative build capability, with examples of interactive ad units or end cards
  • Ability to turn static designs into high‑CTR interactive experiences
  • Solid foundation in static image design, GIFs, and short‑form video edits
  • Experience creating landing‑page‑style, product demo, unboxing, and testimonial creatives
  • Proficiency with AI design tools, including Nano Banana Pro
