Part Time - 20 hours per week £18,500 per annum

The Company

  • My client is a highly successful independent business, supplying products and solutions to customers throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. They are looking for an experienced Administrator to support their busy Accounts and Sales Administration functions on a part time basis.

The Role

  • Assist with sales order processing.
  • Allocating On Account and cash sales on a daily basis.
  • Informing relevant Managers of any queries and irregularities.
  • Matching sales orders to model invoices.
  • Scanning and filing Proof of Delivery documents.
  • Matching cash, BACS, card (PDQ), Paypal and Sage payments to non-account sales.
  • Settling weekly transactions and ensuring non-accounts sales balance.
  • Chasing delivery notes from drivers and external hauliers.
  • General administration duties.
  • Additional support for the sales and accounts teams during busy periods.

The Candidate

  • An experienced administrator with a background of providing administrative support to accounts or sales teams, or similar.
  • Strong administration, organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with all departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Can do attitude with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), with the confidence and ability to be trained on new systems.
