Summary
We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Maneliza Care. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes or care facilities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of care plans and client progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary.
Requirements
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to individual client needs.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- A valid driving license is beneficial but not mandatory.
