We are looking for an experienced Working Site Supervisor to join one of our clients and take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities. The successful candidate will be a hands-on supervisor who can lead a site team effectively while also being willing to get involved with the work when required. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to a high standard and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors.
- Carry out hands-on work alongside the team where required.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site and ensure works remain on programme.
- Ensure all works are completed to the required quality and specification.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and site housekeeping.
- Conduct and assist with site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and other site personnel.
- Monitor materials, plant and equipment and report any requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues on site promptly.
- Ensure site records and relevant documentation are maintained.
- Support the successful delivery of projects from start to completion.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor, Working Supervisor, Foreman or similar.
- Strong practical/technical construction experience.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a site team.
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
- Ability to read and work from drawings, specifications and project information.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
- Relevant industry qualifications/cards required for the role.
- Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
