We are looking for an experienced TIG welder to join a manufacturing company in Ruislip. The role involves welding and fabricating products from start to finish using technical drawings. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience of TIG welding on aluminium.
Duties
- TIG welding
- Ensure the accurate fabrication of components into appropriate end products.
- Work to customer specifications.
- Tube welding up to 50mm.
- Work with 12mm fillet welds.
- Ensure that company quality-control procedures are always followed.
- Ensure that all jobs issued are completed within the given timescales.
- Contribute to overtime needs as and when the business requires assistance.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Health & Safety policy.
Skills and Experience
- Previous TIG welding experience is essential.
- Aluminium welding experience is essential.
- Experience of welding on a turn table and free hand.
- Knowledge in fitting and ability to fabricate from own jigs and fixtures is advantageous.
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawings with confidence.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Total of 39 hours per week.
