We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Race Technician to join a specialist motorsport team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-value race cars, supporting both workshop preparation and international race events. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, preparing, and running prestigious vehicles at a high level of competition. About the Role

You will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and trackside support of race cars. The role combines workshop-based engineering with travel to motorsport events across the UK and Europe. This position offers the opportunity to work within a highly skilled team dedicated to delivering exceptional standards across race programmes and vehicle projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, preparation, and rebuild of race cars in a professional workshop environment
  • Provide trackside support at race events, ensuring optimal vehicle performance
  • Travel to UK and European race meetings as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment at all times
  • Accurately manage and maintain technical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with senior team members to plan, monitor, and deliver engineering projects
  • Assist in compiling project updates and reports for clients
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within strict deadlines

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in time-sensitive environments

  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and travel
  • Basic fabrication skills; MIG/TIG welding knowledge is advantageous but not essential

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the motorsport sector
  • Full UK driving licence required
