An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities / Project Engineer to join a leading defence and aerospace organisation supporting high-profile operational sites across the UK. Working within a small, collaborative team, you'll play a key role in delivering internal facilities and infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. This position offers a varied workload across electrical, mechanical, and civil projects within a secure and highly regulated environment.

The Role

  • Managing and coordinating facilities-based projects, including:
    • Developing project concepts and scopes of work
    • Producing project plans and supporting tender processes
    • Reviewing contractor quotations and procurement submissions
    • Coordinating RAMS and contractor documentation
    • Monitoring contractors on-site and supporting project delivery
    • Ensuring projects are completed and signed off in line with business requirements
    • Liaising with internal stakeholders including Security, IT, H&S, and operational user groups

The role is primarily based in Havant, with occasional support required at the clients Gloucester and Westbury sites.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Project Engineering or Project Management within facilities, infrastructure, defence, or related environments
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and techniques
  • Good knowledge of building regulations
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D/3D CAD packages
  • NEBOSH Level 2 minimum
  • Ideally Prince2 qualified or working towards accreditation
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within facilities or related engineering disciplines
