The role:
This role involves the assembly of prototype and production machines in line with engineering drawings and procedures, while ensuring all modifications are accurately documented through change request forms. The position requires hands-on fabrication skills, including the use of basic machine tools such as drills, lathes, and mills to modify parts and produce simple components like brackets and mounting plates. Close coordination with production control is essential when dealing with incomplete kits, and all work must meet defined quality and technical standards. Effective communication with senior technicians and team leaders is key to resolving issues during the build process and maintaining workflow efficiency.
What we want from you:
- Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
