We are seeking skilled Electrical Wirers for an ongoing contract in Berkshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of heavy-duty cables and will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to cable assembly and wiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & assemble heavy-duty cables.
- Working with large heavy-duty connectors, plugs & sockets.
- Perform cable crimping, looming and terminating work with precision.
- Conduct point-to-point wiring in accordance with provided diagrams and instructions.
- Assemble harnesses as per design requirements.
- Execute single and 3-phase wiring tasks effectively.
- Read and interpret wiring drawings and instructions accurately.
- Utilise heavy-duty crimping tools to ensure high-quality connections.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Electrical qualifications, ideally to 18th Edition Level.
- Proven experience in cable assembly, particularly heavy-duty and rack assembly.
- Familiarity with cable crimping, looming, and terminating techniques.
- Experience in point-to-point wiring and working with a range of connectors.
- Ability to read and understand wiring drawings and instructions.
- Proficient in using heavy-duty crimping tools.
- Previous experience with outside broadcast wiring is advantageous.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday 7.45am to 4pm.
