In this role, you'll have the opportunity to undertake a variety of assembly and inspection operations to produce and test cables, pipes, high pressure hoses and gun components as part of seat assembly production team to produce lifesaving equipment.
You'll be involved in activities such as using technical specifications and drawing to produce assemblies as part of seat assembly.
This is an onsite role based at our Denham site.
What You'll Do
- Mask up components to be blasted with aluminium oxide.
- Bond the parts together with the appropriate glue (araldite) and oven cure the glue
- Clean off excess glue and prepare assembly for inspection
- Handle materials, goods and components carefully and complying with all safety regulations.
- Monitor the fitness of tools and equipment and providing their replacement or recalibration
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with engineering hand tools.
- Basic understanding of measuring equipment
- Basic grounding in Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Experience using SAP.
