We are seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to join a leading Energy Transition team, supporting the design and delivery of innovative, low‑carbon infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to work on next-generation and first‑of‑a‑kind energy technologies, contributing to projects that span the full asset lifecycle—from concept development through to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operation. You will play a key role in delivering practical, efficient and cost‑effective structural engineering solutions within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop civil and structural engineering solutions across feasibility, concept, FEED, value engineering, and detailed design stages
- Produce key engineering deliverables including:
- Structural 3D models
- Design calculations and technical reports
- General arrangement (GA) drawings
- Pipe support designs
- Foundation designs and RC detailing
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering discipline
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution
- Strong experience in civil and structural detailed design within energy or industrial sectors
- Solid understanding of national and international design codes and standards
- Strong knowledge of the engineering design process, including scope development and calculation production
- Proficiency in structural and CAD design tools, including:
- Autodesk Revit
- AutoCAD
- Tekla
- Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis (or STAAD Pro)
- Civil 3D (desirable)
Project Scope
- Projects will support the Energy Transition and low‑carbon infrastructure sector, including:
- First‑of‑a‑kind energy technologies
- Low‑carbon and zero‑carbon energy systems
- Industrial and process plant infrastructure
- Multi‑disciplinary energy developments across UK and international markets
You will be working alongside developers, utilities, government bodies, EPC contractors, OEMs, and financial stakeholders.
