You will be responsible for assembling lighting products, carrying out tasks such as mechanical assembly, soldering, and the use of both hand and power tools. The role also includes performing quality control checks to ensure all products meet the company\’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble lighting products according to engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Use hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys) and electric power tools as required
  • Perform soldering tasks and mechanical assembly
  • Carry out quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Follow precise instructions with strong attention to detail
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems proactively
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and work from engineering assembly drawings
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Mechanical assembly and soldering experience
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a similar manufacturing role is an advantage

Additional Information

  • Overtime: Approximately 5-10 hours available per week
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
    • Friday: 7:00am – 11:15am
