We're working with an established structural steel specialist that is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced

Structural Detailer .

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused Tekla professional to work on a varied portfolio of complex structural steel, bridge and architecturally exposed steelwork projects across a range of sectors.

The Role

You'll be responsible for producing accurate

3D Tekla models, fabrication drawings and construction documentation , working closely with project teams, clients and design teams to deliver technically accurate and practical detailing solutions.

Key responsibilities include

  • Producing detailed

3D Tekla models for structural steelwork.

  • Preparing fabrication, construction and erection drawings.
  • Developing fabrication packages, including material lists and NC data.
  • Interpreting structural and architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Liaising with clients and design teams to resolve technical queries.
  • Managing drawing revisions and project documentation.
  • Identifying design changes and supporting commercial awareness.
  • Working to project programmes, deadlines and quality standards.

About You

We're looking for someone with

  • Proven experience as a

Structural Steel Detailer .

  • Strong

Tekla Structures experience.

  • Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and detailing.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of project changes.

Experience with bridge structures, AESS or complex architectural steelwork would be particularly advantageous.
