We are currently recruiting experienced Workshop / Vehicle Development Technicians to support tractor development and testing for a leading agricultural vehicle manufacturer based in Basildon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, modify and maintain development tractors
- Remove, install and modify driveline and powertrain components
- Support vehicle testing and engineering activities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Complete technical reports and document test results
- Work closely with test engineers while following health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical fitting or vehicle technician experience
- Experience with driveline, transmission or powertrain systems
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read technical documentation and complete reports
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Good level of spoken and written English
Desirable:
- Agricultural, commercial vehicle, HGV, construction equipment or off-highway machinery experience
- Prototype/development workshop experience
- CANalyzer/CANcase or vehicle instrumentation experience
Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 07:00-16:00
Friday: 07:00-12:00
Overtime and Saturday work available depending on workload.
