We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team in South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business within the structural steel industry, working on a variety of projects involving the fabrication and welding of steel components used in buildings, bridges, and industrial structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Fabricating and assembling structural steel components including UB's, UC's, PFC's, and CHS's
- Cutting, grinding, and welding to required standards
- Operating fabrication machinery, hand tools, and overhead cranes safely
- Ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality workmanship
- Maintaining safe working practices and adhering to all H&S procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication
- Welding and metalworking experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good understanding of workshop health & safety
- Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
- Fabrication/welding qualification preferred but not essential
