Senior Tender Engineer – Offshore / EPC 6 Month Contract Inside IR35 We are seeking an experienced Senior Tender Engineer with a strong Offshore, Energy or EPC background to lead tender activities while managing and coordinating a small team of Tender/Engineering professionals .
Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and coordinate a small tender team , allocating workload and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
Take ownership of tenders and proposals from initial enquiry through to final submission.
Review client specifications and develop technical scopes of work .
Prepare and oversee cost estimates, technical offers and commercial proposals .
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Sourcing, Commercial teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and support commercial negotiations.
Identify technical and commercial risks, assumptions, exclusions and opportunities .
Lead client technical clarifications and tender review meetings.
Ensure effective handover from tender to project execution following contract award.
Requirements Strong Offshore, Offshore Wind, Energy or EPC background.
Proven experience in tendering, proposals, estimating or bid engineering .
Previous experience leading or supervising a small team .
Strong technical engineering background combined with commercial awareness .
Experience with cost estimation and technical/commercial offers
