Role Overview
As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks on key aircraft components, including:
- Engine inlets
- Fan cowls
- Thrust reversers
Responsibilities
- Fabrication and installation of flush repair doublers to inlets and flight control leading edge skins.
- Replacement of inlet lip skin segments and flight control surface skin panels.
- Removal and replacement of riveted or bolted sub-assemblies.
- Work in full compliance with technical data, including SRM (Structural Repair Manual) and CMM (Component Maintenance Manual).
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Structural Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker / Aircraft Structures Technician.
- Skilled in riveting, bolting, fabrication, and skin repair.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical manuals and drawings.
- Aerospace/aviation industry background essential.
- Proof of right to work in the UK required.
