MANE is seeking a Composite Laminator to work with advanced pre-preg carbon fibre materials on high-quality composite components. You’ll be involved in kitting, lay-up, vacuum bagging and de-bagging, working with precision to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will be confident in reading complex engineering drawings and working from moulds to deliver consistently high standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare tools by cleaning and applying release agents
- Perform accurate kitting and lay-up of pre-preg materials
- Apply vacuum bagging techniques and prepare breather bag kits
- Run curing operations using autoclaves, ovens, and vacuum systems
- Monitor material shelf life and maintain traceability
- Adhere to all quality, safety, and process procedures
- Participate in daily team meetings to review targets and updates
- Identify and escalate any production or quality issues promptly
Qualifications & Experience
- Manufacturing or engineering background preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of material handling and curing processes beneficial
