Are you a commercially minded Qualified Accountant with a passion for business partnering, financial modelling and driving strategic change? Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on an initial six-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight, supporting key projects and delivering data-driven financial analysis that influences business decisions. Working within a collaborative environment, you will play a key role in financial planning, project delivery and stakeholder engagement, helping to drive performance and support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to provide commercial financial support and strategic insight.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting and business planning.
- Lead financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support and manage finance-related projects, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.
- Present financial information and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Challenge and influence business decisions through robust financial analysis.
- Monitor project performance, budgets and financial outcomes.
- Produce accurate financial reports, forecasts and management information.
- Build strong working relationships across finance and operational teams.
- Drive continuous improvement within financial processes and reporting.
Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role.
- Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
- Experience managing or supporting business change and finance projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence, challenge and drive business decisions.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
