The role will involve:
- Project Planning
- Coordinate and schedule the successful delivery of EET projects
- Plan venues, civil works, and plant/equipment requirements
- Capture customer requirements and define project scope
- Develop electrical overlays, layouts, and cable routing plans
- Collaborate with power providers on system design, including energy generation, storage, and distribution
- Identify and manage health & safety and compliance requirements
- Plan on-site logistics, including fuel supply and plant operations
- Project Development
- Develop and improve systems and processes for project delivery
- Implement monitoring, data collection, and reporting systems
- Support project growth and commercial development initiatives
- Drive value engineering and cost-control activities
- Prepare Statements of Work (SoWs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while coordinating logistics such as fuel, freight, and travel
- Project Delivery
- Oversee on-site installation and project execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and venue management
- Lead client witnessing, testing, and acceptance procedures
- Ensure compliance with electrical, health & safety, testing, and verification standards
- Monitor customer orders, changes, and project variations
- Prepare order summaries and financial reporting documentation
- Electrical Engineering & Design
- Provide engineering and technical design support across multiple projects
- Produce both conceptual and detailed electrical designs
- Advise on protection systems, equipment selection, and circuit design
- Provide CAD support for technical drawings and layouts
Experience
Prior to the role it would be essential that you have:
- Industrial & commercial electrical installation experience
- Temporary power for events and broadcast experience
- Project management experience
- Client acceptance FAT/SAT experience
- Experience with commercial and procurement processes, budget management and forecasting
Qualifications
Not essential to be successful in the role but you may also have the following qualifications:
- HNC, HND or Degree Electrical Engineering
- Qualified Electrician (JIB Gold Card, NVQ 3, AM2)
- Testing and Inspection 2391-52
- Temporary Power BS7909
- Project Management PMP or equivalent
- C&G 2396 Design
- IPAF, Fork, Telehandler license
