We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading structural steel specialist for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their established team in South Yorkshire. This business has an excellent reputation within the industry and delivers a wide range of structural steelwork projects across the UK and Europe — from standard building frames to complex engineered structures.

The Role: You’ll be responsible for designing, analysing, and delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective structural engineering solutions while working closely with clients, project teams, and industry professionals.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Extensive experience in structural design engineering
  • Strong structural mechanics and design calculation capability
  • Experience with software such as Tekla Structural Designer, STAAD PRO, Masterseries Connections, Fastrak Portal Frame and Masterframe
  • Ideally, experience in connection design
