Based in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, this role involves leading the design, prototype assembly, and testing of photonics-based components, from initial concepts to more advanced stages (TRL4 to TRL7). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, oversee prototype builds, and manage testing to verify compliance with specifications. The role also includes customer interaction, technical leadership, and responsibility for meeting project deadlines and budgets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is self-driven, with a broad knowledge of fibre optics and photonics, and ready to make a major impact on cutting-edge global projects.
