We re looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in electrical harness and cable assembly manufacturing to join a growing manufacturing engineering team supporting complex defence programmes.
This is an opportunity to become the technical lead for electrical manufacturing processes, taking products from design through to full-rate production while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Working within a highly regulated aerospace and defence environment, you ll play a key role in introducing new products, improving existing manufacturing methods and ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency and reliability.
What You ll Be Doing As the subject matter expert for electrical manufacturing processes, you will: Lead manufacturing engineering activities for electrical harnesses and cable assemblies from design through to production.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring designs are successfully transitioned into manufacture.
Develop and Improve manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity and cost.
Create manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows and production controls.
Work closely with Design Engineering, Production and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
Drive root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
