We are currently recruiting for Electricians to join a maintenance team working on a major highways tunnel project in the Saltash, Cornwall area. The successful candidates will work as part of a site-based maintenance team, carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works within the existing highway tunnel. Key Responsibilities Carry out LV electrical installation works within the existing tunnel infrastructure. Install, maintain and modify electrical systems and equipment. Work as part of a wider maintenance and engineering team to deliver works safely and efficiently. Follow all relevant health, safety and site procedures. Work in accordance with project specifications and electrical standards. Support the wider team with installation and maintenance activities as required. Working Hours 19:00 - 04:00 (9-hour shift) The role will be based primarily on night shifts to support works being undertaken during the highway closure. Requirements Qualified/experienced Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications. Previous experience in electrical installation and maintenance. Experience working within industrial, infrastructure, highways or tunnel environments would be advantageous. Strong understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team. Ability to work night shifts and within a live construction/infrastructure environment
