RF Design Engineer
SALARY – UP TO 65,000!
LOCATION – STEVENAGE

The role:
We are looking for an experienced RF Design Engineer to work on innovative defence technologies. The role involves designing, testing, and integrating advanced RF systems into complex weapons platforms, with an emphasis on hands-on modifications and rapid prototyping. Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in RF design, practical testing skills, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions.
What we want from you:
- Demonstrated expertise in RF design and testing at the component level, covering a wide frequency range (e.g., 30 MHz to 30 GHz) including LNA amplifiers, high-power amplifiers, filters, local oscillators, synthesizers, and modulators.
- Experience designing RF systems for harsh environments, accounting for EMC, vibration, and thermal considerations.
- Proficiency in conducting design validation tests and trials in an on-site laboratory setting.
- Strong practical skills in soldering, fault diagnosis, and operation of RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, and VNAs.
- Solid understanding of digital, analog, and power supply design principles.
