Support a busy manufacturing and production environment. This role is key to ensuring materials are received, booked in, issued, and delivered to production on time - helping the site meet customer demand and lean manufacturing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries
- Booking in materials and locating stock accurately using a computerised system
- Picking, issuing and kitting materials for production / assembly teams
- Supporting packing, distribution, and general despatch activities
- Monitoring stock movements and ensuring FIFO is followed
- Maintaining Kanban replenishment systems
- Carrying out cyclic counts and supporting inventory control
- Loading / unloading goods using forklift trucks
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a stores / warehouse environment (goods inwards, picking, packing, despatch)
- Forklift trained with in-date licences
- Counterbalance + Bendi (both required)
- Strong attention to detail and accurate under pressure
- Confident using computerised stock control systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Flexible, adaptable and keen to support operational needs
Desirable
- Experience using stock systems such as D365
- Microsoft Excel / Outlook experience
