PROJECT PLANNER – M&E / CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
- Maidenhead-based
- Travel across Slough, Hayes and London
- Occasional travel to the Netherlands
- Ongoing contract (£600 per day | Outside IR35)
- M&E / Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure
We’re currently looking for an experienced Project Planner to join a growing project team delivering large-scale, fast-track M&E and critical infrastructure projects .
Based from the Maidenhead HQ , you’ll work closely with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, consultants and clients to develop and manage detailed project programmes, monitor progress and identify risks or delays that could impact delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed Level 4 project programmes
- Manage cost-loaded and labour-loaded programmes
- Monitor site progress and update project schedules
- Review and integrate subcontractor programmes
- Produce weekly lookaheads and progress reports
- Analyse critical path, dependencies, milestones and programme risks
- Identify slippage and develop recovery plans
- Support claims, extensions of time and commercial applications
- Attend planning, progress and coordination meetings
- Track commissioning activities and ensure they align with the overall programme
- Work closely with delivery teams to maintain accurate and achievable schedules
About You:
We’re looking for someone with:
- 4–5+ years’ planning experience within construction, engineering or M&E
- Strong experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar
- Experience developing detailed construction programmes, ideally Level 4
- Good understanding of M&E construction and project delivery
- Experience on large-scale, fast-track projects
- Strong knowledge of programme logic and critical path analysis
- Experience reviewing and managing subcontractor programmes
- Strong progress reporting and programme analysis skills
- Ability to support commercial teams with programme impacts and claims
Experience within Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor, Critical Infrastructure, Power/Emergency Power or major M&E construction would be highly advantageous.
