Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Pump Operator to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of pumping and auxiliary equipment across multiple service lines. This role requires an individual with a proactive attitude, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while communicating with colleagues, client representatives, and third-party contractors.
  • Uphold high standards of health and safety in all operations.
  • Mentor and coach junior crew members, supporting their professional growth.
  • Operate diesel-driven nitrogen (N2) and fluid pumps, air-driven pumps, and hose reels.
  • Handle auxiliary equipment related to various service lines.
  • Ensure proper placement of equipment and containers to minimize site disruption while adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Follow technical procedures, work packs, P&IDs, and marked-up drawings accurately.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of QHSE systems and ensure compliance.
  • Assist the Supervisor with operational paperwork and documentation.
  • Take responsibility for competency development by gathering and uploading evidence to the Competency Management System.
  • Perform essential maintenance on all operated pumps.
  • Adhere to all company policies, protocols, procedures, risk assessments, and emergency routines.
  • Represent the company’s best interests at all times.
  • Travel to various locations, including offshore and international assignments, as required.
  • Conduct basic oilfield calculations as needed.

Essential Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Basic Secondary Education
  • OGUK Offshore Medical Certificate
  • Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) Certificate
  • Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) Certificate
  • Pump Operator Competency Certificate

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to operate pumping and auxiliary equipment independently within Process, Pipeline, and Well Services pumping operations.
  • Experience in calibrating OPP panels.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings.
  • Strong awareness of the hazards associated with high-pressure operations.
  • Offshore experience in nitrogen operations.
