Mane Contract Services is recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to join a manufacturing company based in West Sussex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling and wiring various types of large control panels, working from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Point-to-point wiring of control panels
  • Cable crimping and terminating
  • Reading and interpreting engineering wiring drawings and schematics
  • Building and assembling brackets, guards and associated components
  • Drilling, fitting and general mechanical assembly work
  • Wiring LV to MV control panels
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous panel wiring experience
  • Experience with panel fitting and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Confident using a range of hand tools
  • Mechanically minded with experience of drilling and general fitting work
