Our client, a leading organisation within the UK defence and aerospace sector, is looking to recruit a Product Review Engineer to support a major military aircraft programme based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical or Avionics/Electrical Engineer to work at the forefront of aircraft production, providing engineering solutions that directly influence build quality, airworthiness and programme delivery.
This is a hands-on engineering role that extends well beyond the office. You will spend time working closely with production teams on the factory floor and in the hangar, investigating technical issues, resolving non-conformances and ensuring aircraft are delivered safely and efficiently.
The Role
As a Product Review Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing manufacturing and production issues, carrying out root cause investigations, and developing engineering dispositions for non-conformances. Acting as the key link between design engineering and production, you will ensure engineering solutions maintain design integrity, regulatory compliance and continued airworthiness. Successful candidates will receive platform-specific training and work towards engineering authorisation for the aircraft programme.
