This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience in building electro-mechanical assemblies and working with both mechanical and electrical components. You will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, upgrading and repairing assemblies in accordance with technical drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Customer Manufacturing Manuals (CMMs), ensuring all work meets quality and functional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble small electro-mechanical components.
- Perform electro/mechanical work, including fan/motors and heaters according to technical drawings, SOPs, and CMMs.
- Use hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, as well as electric power tools such as electric drivers and drills.
- Utilise measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
- Perform assembly tasks including drilling, tapping, reaming, buffing, lubrication, and gluing.
- Connect cables and wires following technical specifications.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and SOPs.
- Experience in building small sub-assemblies.
- Working with small electronic components such as resistors, diodes, and capacitors.
- Awareness of ESD standards.
- Assembling small components such as fans, motors, and heaters.
- Previous experience in electro-mechanical assembly (desirable).
