We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters with HV Fitting & Earthing experience to join a major energy infrastructure project. This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working on BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) sites or similar high-voltage environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical fitting and HV earthing installation works
- Install and assemble mechanical components and support systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and site documentation
- Support HV installation and commissioning activities
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades
Essential Requirements
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualifications
- Valid and appropriate CSCS Card
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting within industrial or energy environments
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working on BESS sites or similar HV infrastructure projects
- Experience with HV fitting and earthing systems
- Knowledge of renewable energy or substation environments
Working Hours & Rates
- 45 hours per week
- 350 per day (paid to the candidate)
