We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters with HV Fitting & Earthing experience to join a major energy infrastructure project. This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working on BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) sites or similar high-voltage environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out mechanical fitting and HV earthing installation works
  • Install and assemble mechanical components and support systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and site documentation
  • Support HV installation and commissioning activities
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualifications
  • Valid and appropriate CSCS Card
  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting within industrial or energy environments
  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures on construction sites
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working on BESS sites or similar HV infrastructure projects
  • Experience with HV fitting and earthing systems
  • Knowledge of renewable energy or substation environments

Working Hours & Rates

  • 45 hours per week
  • 350 per day (paid to the candidate)
