We are currently recruiting experienced Project Site Electricians to work on a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑growing sector within the renewable energy industry, supporting electrical installation works on a high‑profile infrastructure site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation works across the BESS project site
- Install, terminate, and test electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Support commissioning and energisation activities where required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and industry standards
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with health & safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with site management and other trades on site
Essential Requirements
- Relevant Electrical Trade Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a site electrician within industrial, construction, or energy environments
- Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working on BESS sites or similar HV / renewable energy projects
- Experience within substations, energy infrastructure, or industrial installations
- ECS / JIB accreditation advantageous
Working Hours & Rates
- 45 hours per week
- £32 per hour
- Umbrella / CIS payment
- Inside IR35
