We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Inspector to join the Inspection Department at our client’s site in Denham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading engineering and manufacturing business, undertaking a variety of product verification tasks for mechanical parts and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and testing of components using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Generate and maintain accurate inspection documentation.
- Use SAP to record all work in progress and update component status.
- Track component batches throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain records of component locations.
- Identify and record all non-conforming products in accordance with internal procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven inspection experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong numeracy and geometry skills, with working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
- Proficient in the use of common inspection tools and equipment.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety standards and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
