We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Inspector to join the Inspection Department at our client’s site in Denham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading engineering and manufacturing business, undertaking a variety of product verification tasks for mechanical parts and components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection and testing of components using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Generate and maintain accurate inspection documentation.
  • Use SAP to record all work in progress and update component status.
  • Track component batches throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain records of component locations.
  • Identify and record all non-conforming products in accordance with internal procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven inspection experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong numeracy and geometry skills, with working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Proficient in the use of common inspection tools and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety standards and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
