The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating shop-floor activity to ensure materials are available at the right time and in the right place. The role focuses on creating executable production plans that consider capacity, support customer delivery requirements, and drive continuous improvement across planning processes. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate shop-floor activity to support production schedules
- Manage and prioritise kitting activities to ensure production readiness
- Prioritise materials and issues across Goods In, Stores, Dispatch, Purchasing and Engineering
- Liaise with Purchasing to confirm material availability and quality of supply
- Maintain full material traceability throughout the shop floor
- Raise, manage and close Works Orders in line with MRP
- Review, assess and action MRP exception messages
- Align with Operations to support sales forecasting and site planning activities
- Maintain MRP parameters in line with company policies
- Communicate proactively with Customer Services regarding updates, issues and resolutions
- Work within a cross-functional team to meet customer and delivery targets
- Demonstrate an understanding of regulated manufacturing environments
