Join the team responsible for advancing and industrialising the new manufacturing process. You'll lead key technical aspects of composite and metallic structure assembly, focusing on manufacturability, production readiness, and validation. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep knowledge of composite assembly, tooling design, and manufacturing integration.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing readiness and validation activities.
  • Develop and implement assembly methods (bonding, mechanical fastening) for composite and metallic components.
  • Provide manufacturing input into Digital Twin development and additive manufacturing evaluations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, CAE, Engineering, and Prototyping teams to align on manufacturable solutions.
  • Design and release tooling, jigs, fixtures, and assembly cell layouts.
  • Support prototype build phases and transition to full-scale production.
  • Ensure manufacturability, process stability, and compliance with quality, cost, and timing targets.
  • Support technical documentation including PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience in composite assembly for automotive or similar sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of adhesive bonding, mechanical joining, and tooling design.
  • Familiarity with PPAP, PSW and PFMEA.
  • Experience with Digital Twin integration and additive manufacturing (preferred).
  • Ability to translate engineering designs into practical manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in CAD and PLM systems.
