We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join a busy operations team supporting international logistics, customs compliance, and freight movements across the UK and Europe. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30-17:00, Friday 8:30-13:30 (flexibility available).
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating exports across Europe via road freight and courier services
- Managing import clearances, customs documentation, and CPC codes
- Liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers
- Supporting returns management and inbound shipments
- Ensuring compliance with Incoterms 2020 and UK customs procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement across logistics and customs processes
Requirements:
- Experience within logistics, import/export, or customs operations
- Strong understanding of international freight and customs compliance
- Knowledge of IPR licensing requirements desirable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing or operational environment experience preferred
