Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Kent | Folkestone / Dover Area Permanent | Hybrid Working Availabl e An established and growing civil engineering contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Southern Region commercial team. This opportunity offers involvement in major infrastructure projects across Kent, including highways improvements and significant works associated with the Port of Dove r.This role is ideally suited to an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take a leading commercial position on complex civil engineering schemes while supporting the development of junior team member s. The Opportun ityWorking closely with project and commercial leadership teams, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance, maintaining financial control, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual and business objectiv es.Key responsibilities will inclu de:Managing the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final accou nt.Producing cost reports, forecasts, estimates, and financial analys is.Identifying commercial risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategi es.Procuring and managing subcontract packag es.Preparing and administering subcontract agreements and associated documentati on.Reviewing, valuing, and certifying subcontractor applications for payme nt.Managing variations, compensation events, and change control process es.Supporting the resolution of contractual and commercial disputes where requir ed.Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, and industry standar ds.Providing guidance and mentoring to Assistant and Quantity Surveyors within the te am.
