Their mission is to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational in diverse international environments. Their experienced technical team works directly with airline engineering departments across multiple countries, delivering hands-on support, diagnostics, and operator training while maintaining exceptional safety and compliance standards.
The Role
We are recruiting for a GSE / HGV Technician to join an expanding international support team. This role offers a unique opportunity to travel to overseas locations for 2-3 weeks at a time, working in destinations such as the Seychelles, Australia, New Zealand, and more. You will split your time between UK workshop preparation and overseas deployments, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of Ground Support Equipment and heavy diesel vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, and repair a broad range of GSE and diesel vehicles
- Conduct pre-use checks, defect identification, and fault rectification
- Travel internationally to support airline engineering operations onsite
- Ensure tooling and equipment meet all safety and compliance requirements
- Provide immediate technical assistance to engineering teams abroad
- Deliver operator training on pre-use checks where required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience maintaining GSE, HGVs, LGVs, plant equipment, forklifts, or similar heavy machinery
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs independently
- Previous experience within aviation or airport operations is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience delivering technical training is an advantage
