The predicted salary is between 33750 - 41250 Β£ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or electronically biased engineer with experience in field service, instrumentation, calibration or regulated engineering environments.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at the customer s site in Forss, with occasional travel to other locations throughout the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and support specialist and bespoke waste assay systems.
Inspect, calibrate, test and repair nuclear monitoring and radiation detection instrumentation.
Provide field service support, technical assistance and equipment troubleshooting.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise equipment downtime.
Support the installation and commissioning of specialist equipment.
Liaise with customer project teams regarding equipment locations, cable routing, transportation and integration into existing site systems.
Produce accurate service, maintenance and technical documentation.
Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant quality, safety and site procedures.
Travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas when required.
Skills and Experience A recognised engineering apprenticeship is desirable.
An HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering would be advantageous.
Equivalent practical engineering experience will also be considered.
