Job Title: Stores Operative Job type: Contract Hourly rate: £13.50 per hour PAYE Hours: 37 hours per week Duration: 3months Location: High Wycombe General stores duties including: Packing orders Loading & unloading orders on and off vehicles Checking order quantities Kanban System Inputting data onto E1 Cycle Counts Work Order KittingGeneral responsibilities: Document management recording measurement and weight Matching detector to orders from the shipping list and liaising with the shipping department Loading data onto excel packing list and maintenance of records to comply with data handling requirements Maintain checks on Kanbans to ensure continuous supply of email orders. Cycle counts to be carried out Daily. Education / Qualifications: A good understanding of MS Word, Excel, and MS outlook Professional Skills/Attributes: Experience of working within a stores or warehouse environment Fork Lift Licence preferred Experience of working within teams, budgets and timescales Confidence and communication skills to share expertise to help others Good organisational skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative but also be part of a proactive team Attention to detail Able to work under pressure Knowledge of stock control and replenishment systems. Good numerical skills Familiar with & understands general principles and procedures within a stores/warehousing environment within the high technology sector Flexibility regarding working hours
