We are looking for an experienced Steel Fitter to join the team and support ongoing steel installation and completion works. The role will involve fitting, installation, assisting with lifting operations and general snagging to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Installation of timber and mesh at designated splice locations. Installation and fitting of drainage systems. Installation of HD bolts to security screens. Assist with lifting and installation operations using MEWPs. Carry out general steel fitting and associated installation works as required. Complete miscellaneous finishing works and snagging to achieve project close-out. Work from drawings, specifications and site instructions where required. Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure all works are completed safely. Follow site health and safety procedures, RAMS and instructions from site management. Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools and work areas are kept safe and tidy. Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Steel Fitter / Steel Erector or in a similar role. Good practical knowledge of steel installation and associated site works. Ability to work safely at height and around lifting operations. Valid IPAF certification is essential for MEWP operations. Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. Good understanding of site health and safety requirements. Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to undertake general site tasks and snagging. Desirable Experience working on construction or structural steel projects. Relevant trade qualifications or CSCS card. Experience with security screens, mesh, drainage or similar installation works. Additional lifting or plant qualifications. Working Hours: 07:00am - 17:00pm (10 hours paid)
