The Regional EHS Manager will oversee EHS performance across multiple projects, leading EHS Advisors and Senior EHS Advisors. You will ensure consistent standards, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement of EHS systems, processes, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic EHS leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams.
  • Champion Zero Harm initiatives and ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Lead audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Standardise best practices, safety documentation, and reporting across projects.
  • Oversee contractor compliance and support prequalification and tender submissions.
  • Manage team development, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, innovation, and digital EHS tools.
  • Represent EHS interests with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness, competency development, and enforcement of safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Significant senior-level EHS experience in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant EHS legislation.
  • Proven leadership managing EHS teams across multiple sites.
  • Skilled in audits, incident investigation (e.g., 5 Whys, TAP Root, Kelvin Top Set), and risk management.
  • Proficiency with EHS systems, reporting tools, and digital platforms.
  • Ability to travel regularly and work across multiple business units.
