About the Role We are looking for an experienced GRP Finisher to join a busy production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing and repairing GRP components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets the required quality specifications.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in GRP/composite finishing, automotive body repair or a similar manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Finish and repair GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) components to a high standard.
Prepare, release and maintain moulds of various sizes.
Carry out surface preparation, filling, sanding, polishing and finishing work.
Inspect completed components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Work as part of a small production team to achieve daily production targets.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Follow all company health and safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Essential Requirements Previous experience in GRP finishing, composite finishing or automotive body repair.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work to tight tolerances and meet production deadlines.
Strong work ethic with a positive and proactive attitude.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
