We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their growing team on a permanent day shift.

About the Role As a Fabricator Welder, you'll be responsible for manufacturing high-quality structural steel components used across a variety of construction and industrial projects.
Working from engineering drawings, you'll fabricate, assemble and weld steelwork to exact specifications while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Fabricate and assemble structural steel sections, including UBs, UCs, PFCs and CHSs.
Carry out cutting, grinding and welding to project specifications.
Operate fabrication machinery, hand tools and measuring equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure all fabricated work meets dimensional and quality standards.
Safely operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production deadlines.
Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and welding.
The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
Strong fabrication, welding and metalworking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
A strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A proactive approach to health and safety.
A recognised fabrication or welding qualification is desirable but not essential.
