We’re looking for experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers (MEP / Building Services) to join a major HS2 Integrated Project Team (BBV IPT) supporting the delivery of tunnel portal buildings and pumping station infrastructure. This is a client-side assurance role, focused on overseeing contractor delivery rather than hands-on design. You’ll play a key part in ensuring complex building services systems are fully integrated, compliant, and delivered to programme.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a client-side Project Engineer within the HS2 BBV IPT team
- Overseeing contractor design assurance for building services packages
- Supporting delivery across tunnel portals and pumping station assets
- Reviewing integration of key systems:
- Electrical power distribution
- Lighting systems
- HVAC
- Mechanical systems
- Fire and life safety systems
What we’re looking for:
- Background in MEP / Building Services (electrical or mechanical bias)
- Experience in project engineering, assurance, or client-side roles
- Strong understanding of integrated building services systems
- Experience working on large infrastructure or complex building projects
- Confident reviewing technical documentation and contractor deliverables
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced environment
