This is an exciting opportunity for an Industrialisation Engineer to develop and improve production tools and manufacturing processes. The role operates within a fast paced manufacturing environment, providing effective production support.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and optimise tooling and manufacturing processes for metallic systems
- Support industrialisation of new products and continuous improvement of existing production
- Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, SOPs and engineering standards (including 5S)
- Resolve production issues using RCCA and data-driven improvement techniques
- Manage suppliers and assess cost-effective manufacturing and tooling solutions
- Experience creating manufacturing sequences for multi-level assemblies
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience using MRP systems
- Ability to use cost data to support decision-making
- Welding and non-destructive testing experience
- Project management experience (e.g. MS Project)
- Make vs buy analysis experience
Degree in an engineering/science discipline or equivalent experience
