An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced ICT Estimator to join a leading European engineering and construction organisation delivering major projects across the data centre, mission critical and advanced technology sectors. Based in Ballycoolin, Dublin, this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced ICT or electrical professional looking to develop their career within a dedicated estimating and pre-construction team. The Role You will be responsible for producing competitive tenders and detailed estimates for pre-design and Design & Build projects, working closely with Project Managers, suppliers and specialist subcontractors. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed estimates and competitive tenders. Completing take-offs from tender drawings. Reviewing specialist subcontractor quotations. Checking quotations against project specifications. Applying labour and material rates. Attending pre- and post-tender meetings. Liaising with Project Managers, suppliers and subcontractors. Supporting cost and valuation reconciliations. Ensuring tenders are completed accurately and within strict deadlines. About You We are looking for someone with a background in ICT, electrical, telecommunications or construction, ideally with some experience of estimating, take-offs or commercial work. The role could also suit a competent ICT/electrical tradesperson looking to move into an office-based estimating position. Full training will be provided as part of an established estimating development programme. You should have: Experience within the ICT, electrical or construction sector. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good numerical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Good Microsoft Office and computer skills.
